The backbone of the affordable and efficient model of agricultural extension we are creating is innovativeness in building the most appropriate technology tools. We currently have three operational mobile applications and a robust back-end system customized to allow us resource saving and liberating efficiency. Current CKW systems and applications are designed to work on Android handsets and/or Java enabled handsets.
CKW Search
Disseminates information using a follow through menu.

CKW Survey
Disseminates, administers and submits mobile surveys
Other functionality:
- Supports capturing of images, video, text, bar-codes and GPS/Location data
- Supports local validation of numbers, text, conditional questions, repeated questions, etc
- Farmer profile and ID captured with each survey

Local survey storage, so surveys can be administered with no network coverage and submitted in bulk later on.

CKW Pulse
CKW monitoring and support application that allows CKWs and the project team real-time communication with each other.
How we use it:
- To communicate with CKWs individually or collectively
- Track and display individual CKWs� service provisions levels for their benefit
- Receive, administer and respond to support requests from CKWs.
- Application automatically logs support requests into our Customer Support Ticketing system for handling by Customer Support Agents
- Help CKWs to track their earnings, profit and loss
