Jacqui Moller Larsen
Ghana Country Director, MOTECH Ghana

Jacqui Moller Larsen joined Grameen Foundation as Country Director for Ghana with 20 years of experience in public health, organizational development and program/project management, both in the UK and developing countries. Jacqui has a wide range of experience working with a number of development partners and government agencies, including the Ministry of Women and Children�s Affairs and DANIDA in Bangladesh, helping initiate community support systems as part of a program of one-stop multi-disciplinary centers for women and children experiencing violence.

More recently she has worked in Ghana with AED/USAID as Chief of Party for a large social-marketing and behavior-change communication project on HIV/AIDS, malaria, family planning, and maternal and child health. She has supported the Ministry of Health to redesign its bi annual Health Summits to become highly participative and consultative events, and helped UNICEF and the Ghana Health Service develop a national C4D - Communication for Development Strategy, and design and implement a national infrastructure within the GHS to co-ordinate health promotion efforts.




Jessica Osborn
Senior Program Manager, MOTECH Ghana

Jess graduated from Durham University, England, in Human Geography in 2007. Before graduation she worked with Oxfam International and Cisco Systems Corporate Responsibility Team, where she caught the technology bug. Jess led the in-country development of Google SMS Health and ran a High End Device Trial in Grameen Foundation�s Uganda AppLab before moving to MOTECH in Ghana. In her spare time Jess enjoys outdoor sports, though the heat in Ghana makes this a challenge!
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
David Hutchful 
Technical Project Manager, MOTECH Ghana

David is interested in the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) for economic and cultural development, user experience research, and human computer interaction. Prior to MoTeCH, he was a researcher with the Technology for Emerging Markets Group at Microsoft Research in India exploring the use of technology in the areas of primary education and financial services. David has undergraduate degrees in Computer Science and Philosophy (minor) from Calvin College (2002) and a Master's degree in Information with a specialization in Human-Computer Interaction from the School of Information at the University of Michigan (2008). Outside work, he spends his time reading, watching movies, traveling, enjoying good company and food and most importantly, living and breathing football (round ball, not pigskin).
 
 
 
 
Rodney Tetteh
Operations Manager, MOTECH Ghana
 
Prior to joining the MOTECH team, Rodney worked at Busyinternet for six years. He spent 4 years working as a technical support engineer and 2 years as a Technical Services Administrator, he was instrumental in growing the Internet Services Department. His roles focused on the management of RF Engineering team and the helpdesk, ensuring effective technical and customer support. As Operations Manager, Rodney currently manages the MOTECH call center and assists with the setup of the MOTECH platform in Ghana. Rodney is a highly motivated individual, who is passionate about technology and its impact on the social and economic development of Ghana. He also loves football (soccer) and reggae music.
 
 
 
 
Williams Kwarah
Field Coordinator, MOTECH Ghana

Williams worked with the Navrongo Health Research Center on the Artesunate Recto Caps Clinical Trial from 2000 to 2003. He then went on to study for a BSc in Applied Biology (Medical Microbiology Option) at the University for Development Studies in Tamale, Ghana. Williams joined MOTECH in July 2010 as Technical Field Officer in the Upper East Region, and was promoted to Field Coordinator. Williams says "working for Grameen Foundation is a rare opportunity to work in an international company, delving into emerging mHealth which was previously foreign to me, and also to serve my people, especially those in rural communities who lack access to basic health information. I see MOTECH as a huge intervention to empower the poorest of the poor with useful health information that will improve the health status of the people. I want to be part of this wonderful team providing such a great service to my people�.


Antoinette Akanlise
Call Center Operator, MOTECH Ghana
 
Antoinette holds a Bachelors� Degree in Accounting from Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and a Higher National Diploma (HND) also in Accounting from Tamale Polytechnic. She has a wide range of experience and expertise in Accounting practices and Office management. Prior to joining Grameen Foundation (MOTECH) Team as a call center attendant, she worked as an Accounts and Administrative officer at Gulf Atlantic Services, before then she worked as a Direct Sales Representative for Standard Chartered Bank Contract staff in 2009. From 2004-2007, she was the Accounts Officer for Vicdoris Pharmaceutical Company LTD. She also performed her National Service Obligations and her industrial attachment with the Accounts department at the Navrongo Health Research Centre. She likes learning new things to broaden her scope, and in her spare time she enjoys listening to gospel music and likes to socialize.
 
 
Abigail Shasha Annang
Nurse Support Attendant, MOTECH Ghana
 
Abigail graduated from Takoradi Polytechnic in June, 2009 with a HND in Statistics. She performed her national service at the La General Hospital (Accra) and joined Grameen Foundation, Ghana (MOTECH) as an administrative assistant. From July 2010, she has worked as the Nurse Support Attendant. She loves cooking, listening to good music (Gospel) and dancing.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Peter Kwamina Brown
Transport Offer, MOTECH Ghana 
 
Peter attended Adisadel College and completed in the year 1993.Before joining MOTECH he worked with the USAID-funded Ghana Sustainable Change Project (GSCP), and before that worked as a car dealer. Peter joined Grameen Foundation in August 2009 as transport officer, were he manages the daily activities concerning the transport of all workers in the office and is head driver. Peter says "I am really enjoying my work with Grameen and hoping for the second phase of the MOTECH project�.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Rita Nikoi
Office Manager, MOTECH Ghana

Rita is from the Greater Accra Region of Ghana.   She has been working since 1997 and brings to Grameen Foundation her many years of administrative experience. She worked as secretary with the Ghana School of Public Health and then with the Holy Trinity Medical Centre. She then moved on briefly from working in health institutions to the ports and harbours where she worked as an Administrative Officer and Secretary to the Executive Director of the Ghana Dock Labour Company. Prior to joining the Grameen family on the MOTECH Project, she spent 4 months with the Ghana Sustainable Change Project (USAID-Academy for Educational Development)as an Administrative Assistant.  Now the  Office Manager in the Ghana office, Rita says "I enjoy every bit of my work and have also learnt on the job�. In addition to her work with Grameen Foundation, Rita is currently pursuing a bachelor�s degree in Human Resources Management. Rita is a very cheerful person and likes to visit interesting places in the city in her spare time.

Theodora Sarpong
Office Assistant, MOTECH Ghana

Jibril Musah
Driver, MOTECH GHANA 
 
Jibril attained his Middle School Leaving certificate (MSLC) in 1982. He has years of experience working as a driver for various organizations such as Engender Health, Quality Health Partners, John Hopkins University, and DFID. Ben Akanyi 
Driver, MOTECH GHANA

Ben holds a Senior Secondary School Certificate and has had 15 years driving experience. Prior to joning MOTECH, Ben was a taxi driver between Navrongo and Bolgatanga and worked with Mobil filling station in Bolgatanga as a pump attendant and manager.

He loves rearing animals and plays football during his leisure times.
